Stawa Mlyny is a windmill-shaped navigation sign, built at the end of the western breakwater at the entrance to the port of Swinoujscie at the mouth of the River Swina. At the top is a flashing light, that serves as a navigational guide. The height of the building is 10 m, painted white with a black roof. Built in 1873 - 1874, modernizing the waterway to the port. Stawa Mlyny - like a business card in Swinoujscie - has even become the official logo of the city. Photos with this mill are common in official city publications, printed on postcards, city map covers, tourist information publications.
Two models of the sign can be made from the publication: a larger one at a scale of 1:50 and a smaller one, adapted to the entire Polish lighthouse series, published by GPM, at a scale of 1: 150. The models are not complex and are perfect for beginners and inexperienced modelers. And more experienced people can try to "squeeze" more, than the publication gives.
