On November 27, 1900, the Pervalka (Žirgų) lighthouse started operating in the Curonian Lagoon near Pervalka, in front of the Žirgų Cape of Birštvynas. The only lighthouse in Lithuania, built not on land but on an artificial small island, has a brick foundation, the tower is riveted from metal sheets. The height of the lighthouse is 14 m, the signal is visible at 13 km.
A simple, beautiful model that is suitable for beginner modelers as well, but requires attention and a lot of work. When finished, it will decorate the collection of any modeler. The publication is equipped with laser-cut cardboard details of the required thickness and mass-dyed, which are recommended to be used instead of printed details. There is no model of the island in the publication.
