„Spray“- yacht of J. Slocum

A simple, but beautiful model of the sailing yacht “Spray”, the first solo yacht travel around the world. With this yacht, the Captain - so called close friends Joshua Slocum - sailed around the world from 1895 to 1898 and covered 46 thousand nautical miles. It is not known when the boat was built, but Slocum almost bought it in the last days and rebuilt it, rebuilt it, and prepared it for the trip.

The model is not of the most complex and, although, I write that it is only suitable for moderately experienced modelers, but if there is someone to look after, even inexperienced modelers can decorate their collection with it. This is the first issue of the new "W. M. C. Models" "Retro" series. This series prints previously released models, that have been sold out, but have gained popularity and are desired by modelers. This issue is supplemented with new drawings, photos of the original and is not as "compressed," as the first edition. The graphic instructions are excellent, the textual is minimalistic. The cabin details have been supplemented with portholes, and the graphics of the wooden details have been changed, making it closer to the original wood.
