"Asashio" (Japanese - 朝潮) i- the Japanese destroyer of World War II, the first ship of the "Asashio" class. The name means "Morning Tide" in Japanese. Destroyer's keel was laid in 1935. September 7 "Sasebo KK" Shipyard in Sasebo. Launched on December 16, 1936, commissioned on August 31, 1937. Destroyers of this project, the so-called "cruiser" type, were ordered in 1934. They were designed and built after Japan withdrew from the Naval Arms Limitation Treaties. The "Shiratsuyu"-type destroyers were taken as a prototype, and their design gave the hull stability and strength. Maximum speed and efficiency were to be ensured by two turbo-reducers, similar to the type of "Fubuki" ships, with a total power of 50 000 h. p. The increased fuel tanks made it possible to reach a cruising range of 10,500 kilometers. Armament consisted of three twin 127 mm Type 50 C artillery turrets, located in the diametrical plane at different levels (the second artillery turret was above the stern superstructure), two two Type 96 anti-aircraft guns, located on either side of the second stack, two four-barreled 610 mm Type 92 torpedo apparatus with stock of sixteen Type 93 torpedoes. "Asashio" took part in the occupation of Malaya and the Dutch Indies, the Battle of Badung Strait, where together with the destroyer "Osio" they sank the Dutch destroyer "Hr. Mis Piet Hein" with artillery fire and torpedoes. Participated in the Battle of Midway. "Asasio" and "Aracio" in 1943 was engaged in the transfer of troops from Rabaul to Lae. On March 4, 1943, along with three destroyers and four transport ships, sank in Bismarck sea by American and Australian aircrafts at the following coordinates: 07°15′ south latitude, 148°15′ east longitude.

A well-designed and richly detailed model of a medium-sized warship in the rather monotonous dark gray camouflage, with which the ship was painted in 1942. Where necessary, entire detail sheets are printed with double-sided printing, quite a large color reserve. The print quality is excellent, there are no text instructions, the graphics instructions are of the highest level. A model for intermediate and advanced modelers. On one sheet - thanks to the Polish nation - a dozen silhouette models of soldiers of the 1st Infantry Regiment of the Duchy of Warsaw from 1810 - 1812
