The Taj Mahal (Hindi: ताज महल; Urdu: تاج محل) - the mausoleum in Agra, India. It was built by about 20,000 people between 1631 and 1653. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built it as a mausoleum in honor of his wife Arjumand Banu Begum, also known as Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is considered the most impressive building of the Mughal Empire, combining elements of Persian, Indian, Turkish and Islamic architecture. The most famous feature of the Taj Mahal is the white marble mausoleum, although the entire structure also consists of many other architectural elements. The entire complex covers an area of about 17 hectares. In 1983 the Taj Mahal was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

A medium-sized, well-designed and moderately detailed model of an architectural monument for modelers of any experience. Only beginners and modelers with little experience recommend assembling this model under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and not rushing, using all the reserves of patience, diligence and attention. The model can be made with a removable dome and detailing of the interior of the sarcophagus room. There is no color stock, and it would not help much here - the model is too colorful. Some details are printed double-sided. The textual instructions are quite extensive and detailed in German and English, the graphics are small, but quite clearly illustrate the entire process of assembling the model.
