The Vygiełzów Museum – in the Vistula Ethnographic Park in Vygiełzów and Lipowiec Castle was established on 1 January 2007. However, the origins of the ethnographic park date back to 1968, when the construction of an open-air museum began at the foot of the castle hill with the ruins of the medieval Lipowiec Castle, and on 7 April 1970, after the castle was completed as a permanent ruin and opened to tourism, a branch “Lipowec Castle Ruins – Ethnographic Park” was established at the Chrazhanów Museum. The open-air museum was opened to the public on 15 October 1973. At that time, three objects could be seen here. Today, the 5.3 ha open-air museum contains 27 valuable monuments of wooden architecture, not counting small architecture. The picturesque area includes peasant homesteads with gardens and flower beds, facilities related to the production of rural crafts, a church with a bell tower, a town complex and other examples of rural architecture of the Vistula region.

The publication recreates a house from Podolsch and a rectory from the villages of Benczynas. Both models are very simple (in essence, they are two connected in one publication single-sheet "Extra Model" models). Therefore, even novice modelers should not have any problems, gluing them together. And You don't need the help of more experienced colleagues, but it's more fun to work in a team.
