The Miedzyrzec Podlaski Railway Station

The Miedzyrzec Podlaski Railway Station Palace was opened in 1867. Its current address: Plac Dworcowy (Palace Square) 3. The railway station is located on the international line E20 Berlin - Warsaw - Moscow. The PKP classifies this station as a local importance. During World War II this station and the railway lines around it were frequently attacked by partisans. This was part of the so-called Podlaskie Rail War. Partisans, by planting and detonating bombs and destroying the tracks, disrupted the transport of German troops, ammunition, supplies and equipment to the Eastern Front for many weeks. Even in 1952 a group of students from the patriotic organization "ZEW" tried to derail a tourist train from Moscow to Berlin. This trip was carrying Soviet diplomats and officers to Berlin. In 2004 the passenger turnover of this station reached 999 people per day and was in 452nd place among all Polish stations. In 2012 the modernization of the station building began and the building was completely renovated. The roof covering was replaced, the wooden parts of the windows and doors are changed, sanitary facilities and ticket offices were adapted for the disabled. Now the station has two platforms and three platform lines. 

A large, but not very complicated, well-designed, beautiful building model for modelers of any experience. Beginners can assemble it simplified (without deepening the window and door openings, without gutters and other small details). Well, for experienced people there will definitely be room for imagination to run wild here. True, everyone will have to work carefully, meticulously, and patience will be needed. Very good medium-size textual instruction, graphical ones are also excellent, although not the largest. In the publication of color and texture reserves there aren't any, but they're unlikely to be needed.
