FIAT "Cinquecento" (it. five hundred) - a representative of the smallest passenger car class. It came to the Polish market as a replacement for the FIAT 126p, which had reigned for the last few decades. "Cinquecento" was the first passenger car to be produced only at the Polish plant in Tychy. These cars were produced only as a 3-door hatchback under FIAT license at the "Fabryka Samochodow Malolitražowych" (Small Litrage Car Factory) in Tychy. The car was first publicly demonstrated on December 9, 1991 in Rome. The premiere in Poland took place 7 days later in Warsaw. The car went on sale in the summer of 1992, but production began a year earlier. It was thought, that "Cinquecento" would replace the FIAT 126p, but its appearance on the market did not stop the production and sales of "Maluch". Both models were produced in parallel. In 1993, 500 thousand "five hundred" exemplar rolled off the assembly line. In 1991-1998 1,164,525 units of this car were produced, of which over 863,000 were exported. We have no doubt, that we will find at least a dozen units in Lituania.
One edition contains parts for models of two cars, painted in different colors. One of them recreates an ordinary serial passenger car, the other - a service car, used by the Polish police. Both models are very simple (in essence, these are two connected models, published on one sheet of "Extra Model", in one edition). Therefore, even novice modelers should not have any problems gluing them. And You don't need the help of more experienced colleagues, but it's more fun to work in a group.
