4 Type. "Ka-Tsu" - Japanese WWII floating armored personnel carrier. The first prototype was produced in 1943. Serially produced in 1944-1945, only about 50 vehicles of this type were produced. One 62 h. p. power engine is mounted. Armament consisted of two 13 mm machine guns. The transporter could also carry two torpedoes. 4 Type. "Ka-Tsu" was developed, based on the experience of the Japanese Army and Navy in 1942-1943 during the Solomon Islands campaign, during which it was very difficult to supply his troops - often enemy fire completely cut off the supply of ammunition by sea. Main task of the 4 Type. "Ka-Tsu" was to transport supplies and troops from their ships to the landing sites on the coasts of the islands. The armor of the transporter was relatively thin, reaching only up to 10 mm and not continuous. It is worth adding, that 4 Type. "Ka-Tsu" was to be used by specially adapted submarines, that were planned to attack the US Navy base at Pearl Harbor again. But the plans remained unfulfilled.

A large, richly detailed and beautifully designed colorful model for intermediate to advanced modellers. However, when working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, this model can be assembled by advanced beginners and those with little experience, but it will not be easy. The model has a well-detailed hull, armament (there are even two torpedoes, the details of which are printed with silver "Metallic" type paint), chassis, propeller-rudder group, exterior detailing, the engine compartment is not detailed. Colors reserve are not in stock. The model recreates the appearance of one of the last transporters of this type, armed with 610 mm torpedoes and 7.7 mm machine guns and prepared for the second attack on Pearl Harbor.
