"Seawolf' (also known as SSN-21) is a class of American nuclear submarines (SSN). These ships were built between 1989 and 2005. Only three of these were built. The "Seawolf" class is 107.6 m long, 12.2 m wide, and has a displacement of approximately 9,300 tons. The maximum underwater speed is approximately 35 knots. The submarine is armed with eight 650 mm torpedo tubes. The "Seawolf' class was designed and built as a completely new design, initially to supplement and then replace the "Los Angeles" class (also 688i). The ships of this type were designed as highly specialized destroyers to combat Soviet submarines in their territorial waters. In order to achieve such ambitious goals, when designing the "Seawolf" class ships, great attention was paid to their noise insulation and the greatest possible immersion depth. For this reason, HY-100 steel was widely used in their construction. It was also aimed to develop a significant underwater speed, significantly exceeding 30 knots. In addition, the ships of this class received excellent electronic and hydro-acoustic equipment, almost certainly much superior to that, used on Soviet ships of the time. However, due to such strict standards, perhaps the best destroyers in the world were created, but their cost significantly exceeded the initial assumptions, and the estimated cost of one ship of this class - depending on the methodology - is given between 3 and 3.5 billion dollars, making it the most expensive ship of this type in the world! High production costs, as well, as the end of the Cold War, led to the building of only three ships of this type.

A small, simple, well-designed and maximally detailed model for modelers of any experience, except those, taking their first steps in paper modeling. The most complex detail here will be the propeller, but other parts also require care and attention. The textual instructions are small, but quite detailed, the graphic ones are just as small, but perfectly complement the graphic ones. There is a reserve of colors.
