ORP "Piorun" was an N-class destroyer, used by the Polish Navy during World War II. The word "piorun" means "thunder" in Polish. The ship was commissioned by the Royal Navy in 1939 and launched as HMS "Nerissa", and in October 1940, while still under construction, was loaned to the Poles. In May 1941, ORP "Piorun" encountered the German battleship "Bismarck" and came under fire, while other Royal Navy special forces units caught up with and sank the German ship. After World War II, "Piorun" was returned to the Royal Navy and recommissioned as HMS "Noble", before being scrapped in 1955.
A beautifully designed and highly detailed ship model for intermediate to advanced modelers. Beautiful 1943 "block" camouflage, which has light traces of use. The graphic instructions are rich and detailed, the textual ones are small and only general rules. There is a small stock of colors.
