ORP “Krakowiak” (L 115) was a “Hunt II”-class escort destroyer that served in the Polish Navy (Marynarka Wojskowa) from 1941 to 1946; it took part in Operation “Anklet”, the Mediterranean campaign, the landings in Sicily, the Normandy invasion, and other naval operations. After the war it participated in Operation “Deadlight”, before being returned to the Royal Navy, where it served as HMS “Silverton”; it was decommissioned and scrapped in 1959.

This is a straightforward, compact model of a ship, featuring a two-tone camouflage scheme; it is suitable for modelers of various experience, though, perhaps, not for absolute beginners. Advanced beginners and modelers little experience should work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, working without rushing, with care and precision. The model is well-designed and features a high level of detail for its scale. It includes color reserves — and is not a small. The textual instruction (in English and Polish) is extensive and informative, while the graphical instruction is large, clear, easy to read, and excellently illustrated. The kit includes three main structural frame parts, laser-cut from 1 mm thick cardboard and a Polish Navy (Marynarka Wojskowa) flag, printed on thin paper.
