The SKR-7 type patrol ships of the 35th project (NATO classification: "Mirka"-class frigate) are patrol ships, a modified version of the 159th project. They were also built according to the modernized 35-M project (NATO classification: "Mirka-II"-class frigate). A total of 18 ships were built. One of them, SKR-6, became famous after attacking the American destroyer "Caron" on February 12, 1988, after it illegally crossed the USSR maritime border. SKR-20 (factory No. 168) until May 19, 1966 was classified as an anti-submarine defense ship PLK-20; on May 4, 1989, it was removed from the Navy lists, as it was transferred to the Property and Finance Department for dismantling and cutting, and later cut into scrap metal in Liepaja.
A small, but very complex, well-designed and maximally detailed model for such a scale of a small ship, model for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. Where necessary, the details are printed double-sided, some of the details are printed in a dull "metallic" copper color. The color reserve is minimal and only gray. The graphic instructions are larger, than even the number of sheets with details, consist of numerous 3D drawings, are perfectly readable and informative. The text instructions are small in Russian and Ukrainian and only general notes.
