The urban appearance of Žagan was significantly adjusted and rebuilt over the centuries. Its center was the Market square and the street network, which had changed little since the 13th century. A large shopping square was surrounded by residential houses, and in its center stood the Town Hall. In the 14th century, the city government moved to a new building, built in the Gothic style, that had become established here. The building was rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries and remained in this form until the middle of the 19th century. In 1869, the Žagan Town Hall was rebuilt again. The architect responsible for the new project, Lechoffer, was based on the appearance of the Palazzp Vecchio (Old Palace) in Florence - a pearl of Italian architecture from the 14th century. Only the foundations, basements and part of the first floor remained from the original building. The city coat of arms, which was granted to Žagan by Emperor Rudolf in 1602 and the emblem of Duke Louis Napoleon, are bricked into the walls. The Town Hall with its magnificent tower is organically integrated into the overall development that occupies a significant part of the Market Square. The buildings of the Market Square and the Town Hall of Żagań survived unchanged until 1945. The battles for the city in February of that year severely damaged it. In the post-war years, many of the destroyed buildings were completely dismantled, and the bricks were used to rebuild Warsaw. The surviving walls of the Town Hall were also partially dismantled. Only the tower with part of the arcade gallery has been preserved. The tower serves as a city observation deck.

An uncomplicated, beautiful and perfectly detailed building model for beginners and modelers with little experience. They will not need advice from even a more experienced colleague, because the model is definitely not one of the top ten complex ones. The text instruction is small, but quite detailed, the graphic one - one, but detailed drawing.
