The Basilica of Jasna Góra, also known as the Basilica of the Discovery of the Holy Cross and the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is the main element of the Jasna Góra Monastery complex in Czestochowa, which has been titled as a minor basilica since 1906. The title was granted by Pope Pius X. The history of this sacred building dates back to the reign of Władysław Jagiellon in Poland, when a single-nave Gothic-style church was built in the 1520s, which was expanded to a three-nave church in the same century. However, it is believed, that an earlier wooden church stood on the site of the current basilica. The current form of the temple was created at the end of the 17th century, when the building was rebuilt after the fire of 1690. At that time, the church was rebuilt in the Baroque style, the naves were raised, as well as the presbytery. New vaults were also formed in the nave, while the Gothic vaults in the aisles were preserved. Currently, to the north of the basilica is the Chapel of Our Lady of Czestochowa with the famous painting of Our Lady of Jasna Góra. The Basilica of Jasna Góra is considered one of the most important Marian cults and one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Poland.

A large, beautiful, well-designed and richly detailed model only for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. However, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, even a modeler with little experience will be able to make this beautiful model - the main thing is to work slowly, carefully and attentively. There are no reserves of colors and textures, the textual instructions in Polish are small, but quite detailed, the graphic ones are a dozen drawings, but sufficient for good gluing of the model.
