The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of the Rosary in Boronów (Silesian Voivodeship. Poland) was built at the beginning of the 17th century, although, it is believed, that the first church in this town was built as early as the 13th century. It was founded by Andrzej Dzierzanowski of the Gozdaw family, and the building of this wooden church was most likely completed in 1611. Built according to the Greek cross plan, it is the oldest church of its type, that has survived to this day in Silesia. The church has five altars. Most of the liturgical furniture and sacred objects in the church date from the 17th and 18th centuries. Initially, the church was colorfully painted, but during the reconstructions it was not repainted and the colors faded. Next to the church there is also a 20-meter high bell tower, the first bell of which was installed in 1638. Currently it houses the parish of the Roman Catholic Church.
A sizeable, but not very complicated, well-designed and not overloaded with details model, which will be perfect for both advanced beginners and modelers with little experience. Only they are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and not rush, work carefully and accurately. And experienced modelers, using the second edition and the photos of the original church on the Internet, will certainly find ways to complicate their life as a modeler and create a real modeling masterpiece. There are considerable reserves of wall and roof textures. The textual instructions in Polish are extensive, but part of them are general notes and descriptions of gluing methods. The graphical instructions are small and only supplement the textual.
