The car "JELCZ 640" is an example of cooperation between this plant and the Austrian company "Steyr", it uses many Austrian-made components, but the cabin was designed by its own engineers, a gearbox developed by FPS "Tczew" and a diesel engine of the SW 680 family designed by WSK "Mielec", with a power of 242 h. p. are installed. "JELCZ 640" is a truck with two rear axles and is most often used as the basis for specialized vehicles, especially concrete mixers and dump trucks.
A well-designed and richly detailed model of a Polish truck with full detailing of the chassis, cabin, transmission, engine compartment, cargo platform and small exterior elements. It is possible to make a folding cargo platform. There is a considerable stock of colors, the textual instruction is large and detailed, the graphic one is exemplary. The second, revised edition of this model. There are photos of the test model. True, by simplifying or omitting some details, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and not detailing the engine, suspension and cabin interior, this model can be assembled by a less experienced modeler. But it will not be easy.
