Tarpan "Honker" is a Polish light off-road passenger and cargo car, which was produced by FSR from 1988 to 2016. Production of the Tarpan "Honker" was planned since 1984, but began only in 1988 in Poznań. Modifications: Tarpan "Honker" 4012 - ten-seater hardtop and Tarpan "Honker" 4022 - two-seater pickup. The Tarpan "Honker" 4032 modification with a shortened 2210 mm wheelbase was also produced. Since 1996, the Tarpan "Honker" has been produced by the Polish division of "Daewoo Motor Polska" in Lublin with a modified interior. The name was changed to Daewoo "Honker" 2324. It was also planned to produce a modernized version of the Daewoo "Honker II", but this project was recognized as impractical, so serial production of the Daewoo "Honker 2000" with a modified appearance was launched. After "Daewoo Motor Polska" was declared bankrupt in 2001, production of Tarpan "Honker" cars continued until 2003 at the 'Andoria-Mot" plant, and from 2004 to 2007 the cars were produced at the "Intrall Polska" plant. Modifications: "Honker MAX" - an off-road car and Honker "Skorpion 3" - an armored car. Since 2009 the cars have been produced at the "DZT Tymińscy" plant. Production was discontinued in 2016, when "DZT Tymińscy" was declared bankrupt.
A simple model, consisting of a dozen parts of a light all-terrain vehicle, owned by ordinary civilian users, is intended for beginners and modelers with little experience. They won't even need a colleague to give them advice, because the model is really not complicated.
