The new Ford “Fusion” sports car for “NASCAR” racing was introduced in 2013. This car was built by the “Roush Fenway Racing” team and competed in the highest division of the “NASCAR Sprint Cup” series. The car is designed in the style of the new generation Ford “Fusion” sedan and is as similar as possible to the civilian version. In 2012, the Ford “Fusion” underwent intensive testing and debuted in the 2013 “Daytona 500” marathon race. The car was driven by Ryan Blaine. Ryan Blaine won 14 races in the previous generation Ford “Fusion”, marked with the number 21, and took 2nd place in the “NASCAR Sprint Cup” championship in 2009. The Ford “Fusion” also set several records at “Daytona International Speedway”, including the lap time in the “NASCAR Sprint Cup” race.
A well-designed and excellently detailed model of medium complexity for modelers of any experience, except for complete beginners. The model, although of medium complexity, is designed for gluing, using the "edge to edge" method and is quite complex. However, by making additional gluing strips from thin paper, the gluing process can be greatly facilitated and such a model version can be made without much problem even by modelers with little experience and beginners, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. It is possible not to detail the engine compartment and the interior of the cabin, and to make the windows opaque, but this will significantly reduce the impressiveness and competitiveness of the model. The textual instruction is small and only contains general notes, the graphic one is also not the largest, but maximally explains the entire assembly process, the drawings are perfectly drawn, easy to read and informative. There is no color reserve, where necessary, the details are printed double-side printing.
