Pz. Kpfw. III Ausf. G – the German medium tank

PzKpfw III (Panzerkampfwagen III) - the German medium tank of the Second World War. The first prototypes were created in 1936, serially produced in 1937-1943, about 5800 combat vehicles were produced. The E version of the tank was powered by one Maybach HL 120 TRM engine, developing 300 h. p. It was armed with one 37 mm KwK 35/36 cannon and two 7.92 mm MG 34 machine guns, mounted in the turret. The PzKpfw III was the "workhorse" of the German armored forces during World War II and one of the most intensively developed and modernized Wehrmacht tanks. Its serial production began in 1936 and during this time many variants of this tank were created. Chronologically the first was the A version, armed with a 37 mm cannon, the engine, developed only 230 h. p. However, already in December 1938, the E version was created, which was the first version, produced in large series. It had a new, significantly more powerful engine, a completely new suspension and stronger armor in the front part of the turret and hull. Later (from December 1940) the tank was also armed with a more powerful 50 mm cannon. In March 1940 the G version was launched, which had reinforced rear hull and turret armor. Soon, in October 1940 the H version was launched, which initially had a 50 mm KwK 38 L/42 gun and reinforced frontal armor. One of the most mass-produced was the J version, which had armor up to 50 mm thick (later reinforced with additional plates), and after experience, gained in clashes with the T-34 and KW-1, these tanks were intensively rearmed with a 50 mm caliber KwK 39 L/60 gun. The last improved version was the N, which served as a grenadier support tank and was armed with a 75 mm KwK 37 L/24 short-barreled gun. A number of variousr combat vehicles were built on the PzKpfw III chassis, such as the StuG III assault self-propelled gun. PzKpfw III tanks were used on almost all fronts of World War II – the September 1939 Polish campaign, the French campaign in 1940, operations “Barbarossa” and “Taifun” in 1941, the Battle of Kursk in 1943 and fought against the armed forces of the USSR and the Western Allies in 1944–1945.

A very complex, well-designed and fairly well-detailed model with full combat and engine compartment equipment, excellent detailing of the chassis, its suspension, armament and exterior. There are a number of additional details, that can be used to "hug" the model – buckets, ammunition boxes, canisters,... as well as personal crew weapons and helmets... The model is intended only for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. From the publication You can make the 5th Armored Regiment, which belonged to the 5th Light Division, which was transferred to North Africa in 1941 and became the core of the "Afrika Korps". There are no color reserves, the textual instruction is large, detailed, informative in Polish and English. The graphical instruction is also large, informative, easy to read and it is not at all clear, which one complements which here :D
