US "Northampton" - class cruisers

This brochure in Polish presents the history of the projecting, building, operations during World War II and fate of the "Northampton" class cruisers. Special attention is paid to the description of the battles, in which the cruisers of this type "Houston", "Northampton" and "Chicago" were sunk. The history and chronology of the emergence of the class and its building are presented, a description of the combat use and service of all ships, structural features and differences between individual ships, there are a number of photographs and 1:500 scale "Houston" (1935 appearance, side and plan views), "Northampton" (1941, side view) and "Chicago" (1942, side view), "Northampton" December 1941 and "Chicago" December 1942 painting scheme.
