This brochure in Polish is dedicated to ships, whose activities during World War II were so turbulent, that they are worth introducing to a wider circle of modelers and naval history enthusiasts. As is often the case with US ships, the available information is very fragmentary, and this publication is an attempt to systematize it. The "Brooklyn"-type cruisers were the prototype for almost all ships of this class, built in the forties of the XXth century for the US Navy. Some design solutions (for example, the placement of ship aviation in the stern of the ship) are still used in the construction of military ships not only in America. The history and chronology of the emergence of the class and its building are presented, a description of the combat use and service of all ships, construction features and differences between individual ships, there are a number of photographs and 1:500 scale side views and top views of "Brooklyn" (1938 appearance) and "Nashville" (1944) and the 1938 paint scheme of "Brooklyn".
