This publication, published in Polish in the "Profile Morskie" series (original title: "Amerykanski niszcyciel USS "Drayton"), presents a fairly extensive history of the origin of the idea, projecting, building, service, operations during World War II of the US destroyer USS "Drayton" and the fate of the ship. A lot of text describing the projecting, building works, history of service and operations during World War II, construction, modernization's, technical tactical characteristics of the ship. The drawings are given at scales of 1: 700, 1: 400, 1: 200, 1: 100 and 1: 50, are quite detailed and provide a lot of valuable information to the modeler. The camouflage scheme of the USS "Drayton" from 1944 is presented.
