For over 30 years, the Railway Engineering Amateurs Club has been operating in the Slovak city of Trnava, which has accumulated a considerable collection of railway engineering exhibits, which are in the permanent exhibition of the museum, they manage. It includes the steam locomotive "Orenstein and Koppel" 2911/1905, manufactured in 1908, which should still be remembered by older workers of the sugar factory in this city, because this old locomotive worked in it for a long time of his life. Times and governments changed, and the old steam locomotive kept working, until time took its toll and in 1972 it was replaced by newer narrow gauges. This is one of the first exhibits of the Trnava KPŽT, which, perfectly restored, is still “alive” in the exhibition today. Two wagons are attached to it: “Daa-k” – a service wagon for mobile railway maintenance brigades, which since 1957 have been supplied for the ČKD fleet by the “Vagonka Tatra” factory in Česká Lipa. Having served its time, it became an exhibit of the KPŽT museum, restored and will delight railway enthusiasts for a long time. The other wagon – “Gbqs” – a freight wagon with two loading doors, which is not as old, as the one, described above – left the conveyor of the same factory only on November 15, 1986. 5 or so years ago, the club bought it, restored it and now hosts thematic exhibitions and classes for railway modelers.
Three small, but beautiful, simple but perfectly designed and not overloaded with details models for beginners and less experienced modelers. Of course, no one forbids modelers with more experience to play with them as a recreational model gluing. There are no color reserves, the textual instructions are in Slovak, as for such models, maybe a bit too large, the graphic ones are 3 drawings: one for each model :D
