Produced in several versions, the British Hawker "Tempest" fighter was one of the fastest piston-engined fighters in the world during World War II. Constantly improved and developed, by the end of the war it had become a real terror for German Luftwaffe pilots. It was very successfully used to destroy the flying bombs "V-1". It was a single-seat, single-engine, all-metal construction fighter, armed with four 20 mm cannons, mounted in the wing, as well as rockets and bombs. The aircraft was equipped with a 2420 h. p. 11-cylinder Bristol "Centaurus" V engine.
A not very complicated, moderately designed, moderately detailed model for modelers of any experience. Even an advanced beginner or a modeler with little experience will be able to assemble it perfectly, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Only for the first ones we would recommend making the cabin equipment, transparent cabin cover and released chassis as an option: if it works - great, we make the full version, if it doesn't work - we don't glue the cabin equipment, we make an opaque cabin cover, we make the chassis in flight position. The graphic instructions are minimalistic and not very informative, the text ones are larger and provide more information. There are no color reserves. Antiquarian publication.
