In addition to supplying aircraft to the Luftwaffe, "Messerschmitt" exported Bf 109s to Bulgaria, Finland, Hungary, Japan, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, the USSR and Yugoslavia. The Spanish company "Hispano" produced Bf 109s under license for its air force. Another manufacturer was Czechoslovakia, which received 15 Bf-109Gs and also planned to produce these aircraft under license, but, like Spain, no aircraft were built by the end of the war. Production of the Bf 109 did not begin until after the war and continued until 1949. The aircraft were manufactured by the Prague "Avia" factory under the designations S-99 (about 20 aircraft assembled from spare parts from the Bf-109G-10, G-12 and K-4) and S-199 (450 single-seaters and 82 double-seaters). The S-199 was withdrawn from Czechoslovak army service only in 1957. In 1948, 25 S-199s were delivered to the Israeli Air Force.
A small, well-designed and quite richly detailed model for modelers of any experience. Only beginners and modelers with little experience are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The model can be made in a simpler or more complex (additional parts are provided for this) version. The model recreates the exterior of the Avia S-199 fighter aircraft of the Czechoslovak Air Force. There are no color reserves, the textual (in Polish and English) and graphical instructions are excellent, easy to read, and informative. Antiquarian publication.
