R-27 "Cyklon" – the Polish rescue ship

R-27 "Cyklon" - the modern Polish rescue ship, launched in 1974. The ship's length is 29.8 meters, draft is 3.6 meters, width is 8.04 meters. Maximum speed is up to 12.5 knots. The ship's crew usually consists of 8 people. R-27 "Cyklon" - one of four R-27 type rescue ships, built in 1974-1976 at the "Wisła" shipyard in Gdansk. Engineer Władysław Dziewoński was responsible for its projecting and construction. The ships were ordered by the Polish Maritime Rescue Service, located in Gdynia. R-27 type ships, including, of course, "Cyklon", combined the functions of a rescuer and a sea tug. They had a gak and a towing winch, as well as special equipment for fire-fighting work - fire pumps, "curtains" and water cannons. It is worth adding, that R-27 type ships are designed to operate in the waters of the Baltic and North Seas.

A small, but well-designed and richly detailed model of a small ship, which will suit only medium-experienced and experienced modelers. The model has excellent detailing of the hull, deck equipment, superstructures, rescue, fire-fighting and other equipment. There are no color reserves. There are no textual instructions at all.
