The bell tower acquired its current appearance at the beginning of the 19th century. The 52 m (57 meters, including the cross) high bell tower is a heritage site of the city of Vilnius. It offers a breathtaking panorama, as well as three sculptures decorating the roof of the Cathedral, one of which depicts Saint Casimir, the patron saint of the city. Having climbed the bell tower, city guests can explore the bell exposition, the old city clock, and explore historical reconstructions of the bell tower and the Cathedral. Educational games are also offered, various excursions are organized, and educational meetings are organized. 600 years ago, one of the oldest buildings in Vilnius served as a defensive tower and only as the city expanded did it become a bell tower (a particularly important element of the Vilnius Cathedral Basilica, the Lower and Upper Castles), which became a symbol of the city. In the 17th century, a clock with two bells was installed in one of the oldest and tallest towers of the Old Town. The larger bell still strikes the hours, the smaller one strikes the quarters. The bell tower has been flooded several times, during the Soviet era the Cathedral was taken away from the faithful, it became a picture gallery, and the tower was associated only with the clock.
A well-designed and perfectly detailed model of medium complexity for modelers of any experience, except for complete beginners. The model is designed so, that it can be assembled by modelers with little experience and beginners, working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Most of the stages are designed in a simple and maximally detailed version, You can make the windows simplified and or fully detailed. The textual instructions are small, the graphic ones are also not the greatest, but maximally explain the entire assembly process, the drawings are perfectly drawn, easy to read and informative. There is a color reserve, but it is small.
