The Inowrocław Holy Virgin Mary Church (Poland)

Inowrocław, the capital of Western Kuyavia, was formed in 1231 - 1267 (first mentioned in 1185). Now it is a district center with 70,000 inhabitants in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship with a developed chemical industry and a famous health complex. The Church of the Holy Virgin Mary is the oldest church in this city, built at the turn of the XIIth and XIIIth centuries. At the end of the XVIIth century, it began to turn into ruins, which it was finally reduced to by a fire in 1834. After World War II the church was start to rebuilt, which was completed in 1980. In 2008 the church was granted the rank of a minor basilica. The church is oriented, has one nave, and is built of hewn field stones. Two brick towers are built on the sides of the main facade. The main altar is decorated with a carving of the Smiling Madonna, created in 1370-1380.

The model does not contain any difficult-to-make details, so it is intended even for complete beginners, who have assembled several more slightly complex models before. But, like every model, it requires attention, self-assessment of the assembly process, and precise work. You can make a simpler (with non-recessed windows and doors) and a more complex (with recessed windows and doors) version of the model. And more experienced modelers will always think of how to complicate their lives with a second magazine and photos of the original. There are no reserves of colors and textures, the textual instruction in Polish and English is quite extensive, comprehensive and perfectly complement the small, but sufficient for good model assembly graphical instruction.
