The history of the car begins in 1981. “Ford” planned to debut this car at the “24 Hours of Le Mans’ in June 1981, but technical problems significantly delayed the program. The first and only car, produced in 1981, made its debut on the “Brands Hatch 1000 km” race. The car was driven by Manfred Winkelhock and Klaus Ludwig. After 40 laps, the car was forced to retire due to a gearbox failure. In 1982 four new cars were produced with a significantly changed appearance. The honeycomb monocoque body was strengthened, the front part became more pointed, square headlights were installed, the rear part was shortened and the wing was raised higher. The model depicts the car of Klaus Ludwig, the winner of the 1982 “DRM Hockenheim Grand Prix”.

In the model is fully detailed cockpit, chassis and exterior, the engine is detailed only to the extent, that it is visible. The model is very colorful, bright, suitable for modelers of any experience, only beginners and modelers with little experience are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. There are color reserves, but only orange. Textual instruction in Lithuanian and Russian - only a few notes. The graphical instruction is not very large, but sufficient for assembling the model, quite informative, clear and easy to read.
