The German World War II gun, known as the "eighty-eight", is probably the most famous gun of that period. Several versions of this gun were produced: the 8.8 cm "Flak 18", "Flak 36" and "Flak 37", as well as the modernized models "Flak 41" and "Flak 43". This gun also developed from the 7.5 cm gun "7.5Flak/L60", which served as the basis for the creation of a new anti-aircraft gun. But the design of this gun was started almost from zero, although the first prototypes of the "eighty-eight" were made as early as 1928. The first prototypes of the "Flak 18" had a 56-caliber long, undivided barrel and were often called 88/L56. The "Flak 18" were mounted on "X"-shaped carriages, which allowed firing at all angles of the hemisphere. The two carriage supports were foldable, so the gun could be quickly transferred to a wheeled chassis or prepared for battle after transportation. Due to their heavy weight, these guns could only be towed by heavy tractors, a frequent "transport partner" of these guns was the Sd. Kfz. 7. These cannons used a simple semi-automatic loading system, which ejected an empty cartridge case from the breech, which significantly accelerated the loading of the cannon and increased the rate of fire, which reached 15-20 shots per minute.

A large model of a large cannon, perfectly detailed and also perfectly designed, is intended only for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. The model has perfectly designed all the external detailing, chassis, transmission, engine, control and fighting compartments, the cannon itself. There is even a reserve of fight ammunition in a special holder, which can be made openable. There are no color reserves in this model. The textual instruction in Polish is large, detailed and will serve You well in the process of assembling the model. The graphical instruction is simply exemplary and is definitely more, than enough for good gluing of the model, informative and easy to read.
