The Mk VIII, also known as the "Liberty", was a heavy tank of the First World War, jointly developed by Great Britain and the United States. Production of the Mk VIII began too late, to be used in the war, but after the war, 100 tanks of this type were produced in the United States from July 1919 to June 1920 (until 1930, the Mk VIII was the only heavy tank in the US Army). The Mk VIII was used for training purposes until the 30-es of XXth century. After completing their service in 1932, they remained in storage until the outbreak of World War II, after which several were sold to Canada for training purposes for scrap metal price.
A fairly large tank, a large model, well designed and excellently detailed, suitable only for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. The model has detailed almost all external details: the chassis, its suspension, tracks (only from separate tracks), sponsons, armament, external detailing. The interior of fighting and engine compartments of the tank are not detailed. But even so, this model has a lot of details. There are no color reserves in this model, but some of them can be "captured" by sparingly using the gluing sectors of the other sides of the parts. The textual instruction in Polish is considerable, detailed and will serve You well in the process of assembling the model. The graphical instruction, maybe, is a bit small, but informative, easy to read and clear. And the final result, as far, as I've seen this model assembled in competitions, is truly impressive and exceeds all expectations.
