The PZL P.11a (the so-called "eleven") - the Polish single-engined all-metal fighter with a Puławski wing and classic tail and non-retractable landing gear. The prototype took off for the first flight in 1931, but series production began with significant delays and took place between 1937 and 1939. The first production version was the PZL P.11a, powered by a Bristol "Mercury IV S2" engine, developing 550 h. p. power. However, it was treated as a transitional variant and only 50 units were ordered. In the summer, the most famous version of the "eleven" appeared - PZL P.11c. It had an improved fuselage, wing and vertical tail-plates. All this improved the aerodynamics of the plane. The engine has not changed. Interest in the aircraft was expressed by, among others, Romania, where 95 units of the PZL P.11 were produced under license at the IAR factories. At the start of the war, all versions of the P.11 were much slower, than their German counterparts, but were more maneuverable, took off faster and had less engine failure, than the German planes. They achieved a number of victories during the September campaign, most of them won by the Pursuit Brigade.
A well-designed and well-detailed model for modellers of all experience, except beginners. The interior of the cabin, the engine, the chassis, and the exterior details are perfectly recreated in the model. It is possible to choose a more complex and simpler engine model, there is no stock of colors. Both instructions are excellent - large, easy to read, informative. The model reproduces the appearance of the aircraft used by 112 Escadre in 1935.
