The Messerschmitt Me-109K was the last serial version of this famous fighter. It was built by improving the latest versions of the Me-109G fighters. The first fighters of this type entered combat units in mid-October 1944. They participated in the defensive operations of the Third Reich, as well as in the large-scale offensive operation "Bodenplatte" against the Allied air forces. The attack on the Allied air bases did not bring the expected results, and the losses of enemy aviation were much lower than planned. The Me-109K was also adopted by the Italian AF.
A simple, although well-designed and well-detailed model, which will suit almost any level of experience modelers. Only beginners (not as one of the first models) and modelers with little experience are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and not to rush. The textual (in Polish) and graphic instructions are small, but detailed and easy to read, explaining the entire process of gluing the model. There are color reserves. The model recreates the appearance of one of the 11./JG 3 "Udet" group fighters in March 1945.
