TS-16 "Grot" - Polish metal-construction high-wing trainer fighter - attack aircraft - prototype with three-point retractable landing gear. The aircraft was to be equipped with two turbojet engines "SO-2". Work on the aircraft lasted at the turn of the fifties and sixties, but the prototype was never tested. The machine was to be armed with two 23 mm cannons and carry weapons on underwing pylons. The TS-16 "Grot" was designed by engineer Tadeusz Sołtyk at the "WSK-Mielec" factory. The machine was designed as supersonic, it was to be easy to operate and pilot, and also adapted to operate from outdoor airfields. It was planned to create two main versions of the aircraft: a fighter-attack aircraft (TS-16A) and a school-training aircraft (TS-16B). It is worth adding, that one prototype was created, or rather, a full-size model of this aircraft, named TS-16RD. However, in the end, the TS-16 "Grot" project was abandoned due to excessive financial costs.

A not too big model of a small plane, intended for medium and experienced modelers. The model is well designed and quite detailed - there is even a hanged weapons of the attack version of the plane. The metal cladding details are printed with silver "Metallic" type paint, which greatly increases the realism of the model, and the fact, that chalk paper was used for printing, increases the realism of the model even more. But, at the same time, it requires increased caution in the gluing process - the smallest drop of glue, that gets where it is not needed, will significantly reduce the effect of realism. You can choose between two (single or double) versions of the model. The model will require a lot of work, patience and attention, but the final result pays for all this. The textual instructions are quite large and detailed in Polish, the graphic ones - maybe a little too small, but quite well explaining all the stages of gluing the model. There is a color reserve, but only in the middle of the joining of the two sheets.
