TS-16 "Grot" - Polish metal-construction high-wing trainer fighter - attack aircraft - prototype with three-point retractable landing gear. The aircraft was to be equipped with two turbojet engines "SO-2". Work on the aircraft lasted at the turn of the fifties and sixties, but the prototype was never tested. The machine was to be armed with two 23 mm cannons and carry weapons on underwing pylons. The TS-16 "Grot" was designed by engineer Tadeusz Sołtyk at the "WSK-Mielec" factory. The machine was designed as supersonic, it was to be easy to operate and pilot, and also adapted to operate from outdoor airfields. It was planned to create two main versions of the aircraft: a fighter-attack aircraft (TS-16A) and a school-training aircraft (TS-16B). It is worth adding, that one prototype was created, or rather, a full-size model of this aircraft, named TS-16RD. However, in the end, the TS-16 "Grot" project was abandoned due to excessive financial costs.

A small aircraft is not too big and a model for modelers of any experience. Only beginners and modelers with little experience recommend working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague, not rush and use all the reserves of patience, diligence and attentiveness. The model is well designed and quite detailed - there are even a hanged weapons of the attack version of the aircraft. The metalic cladding details are printed with silver "Metallic" type paint, which greatly increases the realism of the model, although not as well, as the version, printed on chalk paper. You can choose between two (single or double) versions of the model. The textual instructions are quite large and detailed in Polish, the graphic ones are perhaps a bit too small, but quite well explaining all the stages of gluing the model. There is a color reserve, but only in the middle of the joining of the sheets.
