"Albatros" B. II – the German/ Polish reconnaissance aircraft

The Albatros B.II was an unarmed two-seat reconnaissance biplane, developed by the German Empire company “Albatros Flugzeugwerke” AG, widely used in World War I on the Eastern and Western Fronts, and after the war was used for a long time by many European countries, including the Lithuanian Air Force - both as a combat aircraft (1919-1920), and later as the main initial training aircraft.

A model of medium complexity, but due to the large number of remote controls and the biplane design, it is recommended only for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. The model recreates the appearance of the Polish AF reconnaissance aircraft, used in 1918-1925. Later, this airplane was exhibited in various museums, and in 1967 it was transferred to the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow, where it has been restored and exhibited to this day. The model is excellent detailed, but not super complicated to assemble. There is a large reserve of colors, the text instructions in Polish are medium-sized and quite informative, and the graphical instruction are exemplary.
