The FW-190 fighter was designed in 1937 and built by Professor Kurt Tank. It was created to supplement the front-line armament with aircraft of a different type, than the Bf-109. This, one of the best fighters of World War II, first saw action in 1941 in the battles over the English Channel and caused a lot of fear among Allied pilots, which they only managed to overcome in 1944, when the P-51 “Mustang” in the west and the “Yak-9” in the east entered the action. The FW-190 also proved very successful in strike operations, where, when destroying tanks, it often replaced the “Stuka” tank destroyers. The FW-190A version of the aircraft was also produced in the cities of Poznan and Malbork, which are located in present-day Poland.

A medium-size, not very complicated, well-designed and not overloaded with details model, which will be perfect for both advanced beginners and modelers with little experience. Only they are recommended to work under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and not to rush, to work carefully and attentively. There are a lot of color reserves. The textual instruction in Polish and English is quite large, detailed and informative, perfectly complementing the not very large graphical instruction, which is informative, easy to read and perfectly illustrates the entire process of assembling the model. By the way, it is presented not only as drawings with references to the places and methods of gluing individual parts, but also as photos of the assembly of the test model, which also mark the places of the parts and very clearly show the method of their formation and mutual position. From the publication You can assemble a model of the fighter of the I/JG1 group, which was based at the Dehlem airfield near Arnhem in the Netherlands in 1943, on which Hauptmann Fritz Losigkeit flew and fought.
