Boeing 787-8 "Dreamliner" – the US-made Polish "LOT" passenger liner

Boeing 787 - 8 "Dreamliner" - a medium wide-body long-haul passenger liner. It first took off on December 15, 2009, and made its first commercial flight in 2011. It is designed to carry from 210 to 330 passengers depending on the seating configuration. The aircraft is not one of the most fuel-efficient in terms of fuel consumption. The fuselage and wing of the “Dreamliner” are 50% composite by weight. The main materials, used in the production, are synthetic fibers, aluminum, titanium, and 10% steel. The remaining materials make up only 5% of the total weight. The 787-8 version is the base version and is designed to carry 210-250 passengers. Polish Airlines currently operates 8 aircraft of this type, the first of which was delivered on November 15, 2012 and bears the registration number SP-LRA.

A small but simple model of a passenger liner, that can be assembled perfectly even by a modeler with little experience, under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. The model depicts the “Dreamliner” of the Polish airline “LOT” - SP-LRH, painted in a special camouflage, designed for the flight of the Olympic team of the Republic of Poland. It can be made in both the "airfield" position - with the landing gear extended - and the "flight" position on the stand, the details of which are in the publication. It is also possible to make the model in the "start" position - on the stand, but with the landing gear not yet retracted.
