Bristol "Beaufighter" – the British heavy twin-engine night fighter, attack and torpedo aircraft. It was of all-metal, semi-monocoque construction. It first flew on 17 June 1939; serial production began in the same year. Many versions of the “Beaufighter” were produced during the war, including the Mk.I, Mk.II, TF Mk.X or TF Mk.XI. The Mk.I was the first to operate as a night fighter, fitted with the AI Mk. IV radar. It was well armed with 4 x 20 mm cannon and 6 x 7.7 mm MG machine guns. The Mk.X was the last version, to be produced in large numbers and combined the advantages of a fighter with the attack or a torpedo bomber power. This version was powered by Bristol “Hercules” XVII engines, producing 1770 h. p. Bristol “Beaufighters” were in service with 53 RAF squadrons, 15 Royal Navy squadrons and the Polish 307 Squadron "Lwowskie Puchacze". All versions and models of this aircraft were not easy to control and were very prone to entering a spin, from which it was difficult to get these aircraft out. This usually happened, when one of the engines failed, and ended fatally for the aircraft, and sometimes for the crew. In addition, the Bristol “Beaufighter's” rudder was too small, which made it difficult to maintain a stable flight direction. For these reasons, from 1943 onwards they were replaced on the front lines by the aircrafts de Havilland “Mosquito”.

A large, well-designed and richly detailed model, suitable only for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. The model perfectly reproduces all visible exterior details, the landing gear, its niches, engines, their gondolas, armament, cockpit equipment, beautiful and colorful spotted camouflage, model recreats the impression of a "lightly used" aircraft. There is a considerable supply of colors, the textual instruction in Polish is not very large, quite detailed, perfectly complementing the medium-size, quite informative and easy-to-read graphical instruction. From the publication You can assemble a model of the RAF 46 Division night fighter Bristol "Beaufighter" Mk. VIF. It fought in Egypt in 1943, serial number V8324, side mark "H".
