„Bombardier“ TRAXX P160DC - EU47 – the German-made Polish electric passenger train locomotive

„Bombardier Transportation“ is a subsidiary of the Canadian „Bombardier“ group, specializing in the production of electric and diesel locomotives, locomotives, railcars, trams and metro vehicles, as well as rail traffic control and urban transport equipment. The company had transport subsidiaries in 39 countries. On January 29, 2021, „Alstom“ completed the acquisition of „Bombardier Transportation“ and now has its headquarters in Berlin. The „Bombardier“ TRAXX P160DC is an electric passenger train locomotive, belonging to the TRAXX family, designed by „Bombardier Transportation“ (now owned by „Alstom“). The P160DC model is adapted for operation on direct current lines. In Poland these locomotives are operated by PKP „Intercity“, where they are designated EU47. They also serve the passenger line between Warsaw and Łódź. The locomotive is of a very modern design, reliable, provides comfortable working and travel conditions for both the crew and passengers.

A large, complex, excellently detailed and exceptionally well-designed locomotive model with full interior equipment for medium-experienced and experienced modelers. The textual instructions are small and only general notes, but the graphic ones are large, excellent, comprehensive and perfectly readable. There is a reserve of colors. The model recreates the appearance of the locomotive operated by the PKP "Intercity" company.
