Egyptian papyrus ship

In ancient Egypt, as early as 3-4 thousand years before our era, papyrus ships with a sail were tied for sailing in the Nile delta and the river itself. They were of various lengths: only 3-4 meters and intended only to move across the river and usually without a sail. For fishing, boats of up to 10-12 meters were built with a sail and a crew of several people. Merchants built even larger ships, which were believed to be able to sail in the Mediterranean and Red Seas without going far from the shores.

A simple model for modelers of any experience, beginners would be better off working under the supervision of a more experienced colleague.
