Armored cruisers of the "d'Estrees" type - a series of class III cruisers of the French Navy, built in 1890. In 19th century a total of 2 units were built: "d'Estrees" and "Infernet". Cruisers are intended for service in colonies. They became the last French Class III cruisers. The keel of the cruiser "d'Estrees" was laid in 1897. March at the Rochefort Naval Dockyard, launched in 1897 October 27, in service since 1899. Until the beginning of World War I, she served as a cadet training ship. In 1922 delisted, 1924 scrapped.
The model is of medium difficulty, small, but interesting. Recommended for intermediate to advanced fleet hobbyists. This model features a high level of detail, with some details printed on both sides. Many details are printed with metallic bronze paint. The model is rich in details, but the extensive and informative graphic instructions will greatly help in the process of assembling the model.
