The “Tatra”-class destroyers, served in the Austro-Hungarian Navy during World War I and the pre-war years. Six were built at the Hungarian “Ganz-Danubius” shipyard in Porto Re (present-day Croatia). They were the best destroyers of the Austro-Hungarian Navy and the only destroyers of the Austro-Hungarian Navy with steam turbines and coal- and oil-fired boilers. Two ships were lost during the war, and the rest were transferred to Italy as reparations. A further development of this class of destroyers was the four “Ersatz Tatra”-class ships, which entered service at the very end of the war.
A small, but rather complex, well-designed and very richly detailed model of a warship, painted in gray camouflage (1915) for only intermediate and experienced modelers. There is a very symbolic color reserve, the text assembly instructions are large and detailed in Polish and English, the graphic ones are simply huge, informative, easy to read, and both of them will really help a lot in the process of gluing the model. Excellent print quality
