The MG-81 - a German 7.92×57mm "Mauser" belt-fed machine gun, used in flexible Luftwaffe aircraft systems of World War II. It replaced the older, drum-fed MG-15 in its capacity. The MG-81 was developed by "Mauser' as a derivative of the successful MG-34 general-purpose machine gun. The aim was to reduce production costs and time and to optimize the machine gun for use in aircraft. Designed in 1938/1939, it was produced from 1940 to 1945.
Two paired models of the German 7.92mm caliber MG-81 machine gun were 3D printed for the German World War II Junkers Ju-87 dive bomber model series, published by "GPM" Publishing. All You have to do, is sand these parts, paint them and use them in Your model instead of cardboard parts. This kit will greatly facilitate Your work with the armament of this models and will allow you to make the models more realistic. It is also suitable for some other German WWII aircraft models.
