The buildings of the Paczkowo walls and defense line, that have survived to this day, are three gate towers - Wrocław, Kłodzk and Zambkowice - and the Nysa Tower. The first of them stands on Wrocław Street, is the oldest and strongest. Built together with the defensive walls in the 14th century, the Wrocław Tower, also called the Lower (Dolna), defended the city from the north-east. In front of it was the Mikolajskie suburb, and further, across the river, the road to Otmuchów and Kamieniec stretched. The tower was built in the middle of the 14th century, in 1429 it was partially demolished, in 1462 it was rebuilt again. Like other Paczkow towers, it was built of hewn field stones with brick inserts. The Wrocław Tower stands out from the others with an additional brick roof spire, crowning the top of the tower. This peak was reconstructed in 1919 - 1924. In the 18th century, a massive city prison building was built in front of the gate, which was demolished in 1846. Back in the 15th century, a pillar of shame was built in front of the gate, to which criminals were tied and whipped with a rod or whip. The top of the tower is crowned with a fence with shooting loopholes. Now the tower is a tourist attraction in Paczkow and serves as an observation deck.
An uncomplicated, beautiful and perfectly detailed building model for beginners and modelers with little experience. They will not need advice even from a more experienced colleague, because the model is definitely not from the top ten of complex ones. The text instruction is small, but quite detailed, the graphic one - one, but detailed drawing.
