FSO "Syrena" (Siren) is a Polish passenger car and cargo van, produced by FSO in Warsaw from 1957 to 1972, and by the "Small Car Factory" (FSM) in Bielsko-Biała from 1972 to 1983. The car is named after the symbol of the Polish capital - the Warsaw Siren. The Siren is a mermaid who, according to legend, protects the Vistula River and the Polish capital Warsaw. She is also depicted on the city's coat of arms. In Poland, these cars are sometimes called "Syrenka" (little mermaid). After the release of the FSO "Warszawa" model - a Polish version of the old GAZ-M-20 "Pobeda", in 1953 engineers at "Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych S.A". created a smaller car with front-wheel drive. In 1957 the company began producing these cars under the FSO "Syrena" brand. A total of 521,311 units were produced (177,234 at the FSO plant, 344,077 at FSM) of two modifications with different engines. Interestingly, over a fairly long production period, the car underwent only minor changes. The "Syrena" was produced in various models: 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, but the most popular model was the 105. All of them were two-door sedans with two-stroke engines, initially with two cylinders. Since 1965, three-cylinder engines began to be installed on the "Syrena" models. In 1968, a prototype model called the "laminat" was released. The "Syrena" Bosto van and the R20 pickup truck were also released. The coupe ("Syrena Sport") and hatchback ("Syrena" 110), which appeared in 1966, remained prototypes.

A simple model, consisting of a dozen parts of the passenger car  FSO "Syrena" Bosto from a few parts is intended for beginners and modelers with little experience. They will not even need a more experienced colleague, who can advise them, because the model is really not complicated.
