E-50 – the German medium tank - project of the end of World War II, weighing about 50 tons. It was to become the mainstay of the German army, replacing the “Panther” and “Panther II”, the production of which was to be discontinued in 1945. The hull of the E-50 was slightly longer, than the “Panther”; its dimensions were practically identical to those of the “Tiger II”, they were distinguished by sloping armor plates. The tanks were to be equipped with 1200 h. p. power "Maybach" HL 234 engines and serial production was planned to begin in early 1945. The E-50 chassis consisted of six wheels, the maximum speed was to reach 60 km/h. The drive sprocket and the engine compartment were located at the rear of the tank. As a result, the tower was moved forward slightly (about 50–60 cm). E-50. Ausf. M was to be an intended improvement of the E-50, a project, that could exist as a further development of the E-50. However, the E-50 was not even mass-produced. E-50. Ausf. M was to eliminate all the identified major shortcomings of the E-50 and improve its performance. Therefore, it was planned, that the tank would have more powerful armament and a more powerful engine in order to improve mobility, but the main design change was the transfer of the transmission to the rear of the hull. However, even the relatively simple E-50 was never produced, let alone its modernization to the E-50. Ausf. M.
A small-scale model of a medium-size tank, intended for modelers of any experience. Even a beginner, who has assembled several models, will glue this model without much difficulty and help from more experienced colleagues. However, working in a company is much more fun and the work itself goes better. The model is moderately detailed, with a beautiful spotted camouflage of a "used" tank. The textual instruction in Ukrainian is not very large, but quite detailed, the graphical one is also not too large, but quite informative, easy to read and they will certainly both help You glue this simple, but beautiful model.
