Before the creation of this model, tractors, manufactured at the "Ursus" factories, were too weak to service large areas of land. As part of the cooperation between Poland and Czechoslovakia, in the first half of the 1960s, the Polish-Czechoslovak Tractor Research and Development Center (PCOBR), operating in Brno, established in accordance with the agreement of the governments of the People's Republic of Poland and the Czechoslovak Republic of 27 August 1963, began design work on a heavy tractor, which was named "NUR' in Poland and URII "Crystal" in Czechoslovakia, under the leadership of Czesław Sławski and Jaroslav Zezul. Production began in July 1969, and by March 1971, 1,000 copies had already been produced. In 1973, the tractor was significantly modernized, but serial production of this model began only in 1975. During the modernization, engine power was increased, and a front transmission unit for the drive of agricultural units was installed. 9559 units of these tractors rolled out of the factory, mostly in the basic version. A similar model was the Czechoslovakian "Zetor 8011". This tractor began a series of heavy tractors with 4 and 6-cylinder engines, without a compressor and with a compressor, with 2 or 4 drive wheels (7 models). In the early 1980s, another modification was made, at the same time changing the names of the tractors. The name of the basic C-385 was changed to "URSUS" 902. Production ended in 1983.

We suggest You assemble a simple and easy-to-build model from about 40 parts. We offer it to beginner modelers. The model is not complicated, You will not need the help of more experienced "uncles", but You should not rush.
