A series of test meteorological rockets was built at the Aviation Institute in 1965-70 by order of the State Institute of Hydrology and Meteorology in Poland. The “Meteor-2H” rocket was replace the “Meteor-I” rocket, used before. The first of these rockets launched in February 1968. The aim of these rockets was to raise the “Ramzes” meteorological probes to an altitude of 60-70 km, which would collect and send meteorological data, while parachuting. But these rockets faced aerodynamic and resistance problems. A total of 7 rockets were produced, which differed in construction and painting.
Two complete models of the rockets can be assembled from the publication: 05 and 07 copies. Uncomplicated models, recommended for beginners and those, with little modeling experience, but requiring care and attention. Some of the details are printed in silver paints.
